PORTFOLIO OF PROJECTS & CLIENTS

Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare

I was asked to build an intranet for 800 employees working at 75 different sites in three counties at this behavioral healthcare provider. After researching platform options we chose Concrete5 for its ease of use for content editors and IT staff, and because it's an open-source platform developed in Portland, OR. As well, the site was designed to feel more comfortable than slick, keeping in mind its audience.

Since the intranet was completed in May 2011 it has grown to more than 500 pages, and my role has moved into not only managing the intranet, but also much of the staff communications. Below is a screenshot (it's internal, so protected by a firewall from outside access).

The NETWORK, Inc.

This website project entailed re-branding and building a new site from scratch for this 40-year old company that specializes in organizational change simulation games. The site is primarily information driven, but also designed to sell software downloads, and provide support for users of the games. Built on Concrete5 this site launches in April 2012.

Clear Path Counsel

Julian Dean, MA came to me looking for a very simple professional looking site for his private counseling business, Clear Path Counsel, that he could easily maintain (hello Concrete5!). After completing the site and a couple hours of training him, he can tweak the site content to his desires and as his business changes. Visit site

Portland Jazz Festival, 2010

For the 2010 season I was brought in as the Marketing & Communications Manager. At the time the organization had finished two relatively financially unsuccessful seasons and needed a marketing and communications push that would be creative and resourceful. Through prudent parterships and innovative economical strategies I promoted and helped to produce a successul festival that sold out seven of eight headliner shows on a budget that was roughly one-third the amount from previous years.

Comments received via e-mail about my work for the Jazz Festival:

"Intriguing!"   "Most Excellent!"   "Fabulous!"    "Great coverage!"   "2010 Portland Jazz Festival Sells Out Seven Of Eight Featured Concerts"
